Inspirational Diva Jamie Rivera will once again be the voice of one of Philippines’ glorious event this 2015 with her song “We are all God’s Children” being picked by the Vatican to be the official theme song of the Papal visit in the Philippines from January 15-19.

In an interview, the singer shared that she asked Archbishop Socrates Villegas if she can submit a song for the Papal visit.

The song carries within it a message of solidarity directed towards the poor and mercy for the weak. The song’s message towards the poor also makes it an appropriate pick for the event because it glorifies the blessings that Pope Francis’ visit will bring to the Filipinos, particularly of the poor. Noel Espenida, the song’s musical composer, posted an action video for the song as performed by the Ligaya Ng Panginoon Community Youth.

Rivera said that as she wrote the lyrics of the song, she wanted to showcase the Pope’s humility especially that he’s known for being humble and very humane.
